 Mr. Spencer Gross, a representative of Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel’s office, will teach us how to navigate and use the Online Checkbook.
Mr. Gross will explain how the Ohio Online Checkbook has been provided to help the average citizen learn about the various expenditures made by our government with our tax dollars. He will also explain how the implementation of this data is being made available, at no cost, to each of our local governments across the state.
Empower U – Education, Health Care and Tax Reform

Statehouse Liaison and Policy Analyst at Buckeye Institute, Greg Lawson and Secretary of State, Jon Husted come together for this educational session.
Greg Lawson will discuss some of the major principles that Ohio policymakers must keep in mind if they are to help return Ohio to its previous position of economic greatness.
He will speak on major policy sections of the state budget including: education, healthcare and tax reform.
Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted will speak about what voters in Ohio will be deciding upon in the 2015 ballot.  The Secretary will explain the confusion regarding Issue #2 and Issue #3 and the monopoly issues that will exist if Marijuana legislation passes.  Voter integrity issues will also be discussed. Learn why the Secretary of State was recently recognized by the Association of the United States Army and Ohio was deemed an All-Star State by the Military Voter Protection Project.

Generation Ohio Statewide Event: Hailing a solution to Ridesharing in Ohio

Join Generation Opportunity Ohio in welcoming Representatives Bob Hackett (R-74) and Mike Duffey (R-21) as they discuss the importance of Ridesharing in Ohio and House Bill 237 which creates a reasonable statewide standard that would allow companies like Uber and Lyft to operate more freely in the state.
Ridesharing companies in Ohio like Uber and Lyft have innovated and disrupted the status quo in transportation. They offer a competitive alternative to taxi cabs through improved service at a lower cost while also creating jobs for young Ohioans. Unfortunately, under pressure from the taxi lobby, local governments in Ohio are attempting to force ridesharing companies out of business through overregulation.
Eastern Hills and Western Hills Community Action Annual Picnic

This Wednesday, September 16, Eastern and Western Hills Community Action are hosting a picnic for friends and supporters beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the shelter in Montgomery Park, at the corner of Montgomery and Schoolhouse Roads.
The two liberty groups will provide the grilled meats, fixings and soft drinks. Attendees are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share.

West Chester Tea Party Candidate Forum

Bring your questions for the West Chester Trustee and Lakota School Board Candidates. Questions from the audience will be taken on issues like Common Core in the Lakota Schools and  spending/property rights in West Chester Township.
