Join Jim Lewis and John Hindery, local Constitution experts, for a Constitutional Boot Camp Class. This past year they have conducted several sessions of their 10-week Constitution class that covers all aspects of the Constitution.
Cincinnati Tea Party is sponsoring a one day Constitution Boot Camp Class. The class is scheduled for Saturday, October 19th from 9 AM – 2 PM in West Chester (5430 West Chester Road, West Chester, 45069). The cost of the class will be $20 per person and lunch is provided.
This class includes the following:
How did the Founders view government?
Who were key influencers on the Founder’s thinking?
What is Natural Law?
What is the relationship between the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution?
What are the Federalist Papers?
What tools are available to assist you?
How to read the Constitution.
And much more!
If you have more than one coming from the same family and only want one set of books, it will only be $5 for that additional person. This session would be appropriate for High School age students; we encourage you to have your young adult children attend! Included in the cost is a book on the Federalist Papers and a copy of the amazing book, the “5,000 Year Leap”.

A rally about immigration reform will be held Saturday, September 7th at 2p.m. in West Chester, OH. Our purpose is to let the House leadership, and by extension all House members, know that we do not want the Senate Comprehensive Immigration Bill (S744) to go to conference committee with the House. Any immigration bill that comes out of the House can cause it to go to conference with Senate Bill S744 which will surely result in amnesty.
Saturday, September 7th, 2p.m.
Rally for America: Citizens Rising Against Amnesty Part of the ‘We are America Tour’ Location: The Square at Union Centre
9285 Centre Pointe Drive West Chester, OH 45069
RSVP here – http://rallyforamericaohio.eventbrite.com/
The site of the rally is in Speaker John Boehner’s district just a couple miles from his local West Chester office. This rally is being put together from grassroots efforts by patriots in Ohio and adjacent States. We also have the support of the Black American Leadership Alliance, Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), NumbersUSA and other organizations.
Confirmed Speakers Include: Doc Thompson from The Blaze with many more to come! While we do not yet have a full list of speakers they will be as dynamic and broad as what we experienced in DC. We will also have speakers who have experienced the loss of jobs due to illegal immigration. They have very compelling stories to tell. We will be doing everything we can to accommodate a very large crowd.
Unfortunately, while our voices and message are important, our numbers will speak the loudest. We need all of you to be present and it is in your backyard, not DC.
Hundreds gathered here in Cincinnati today to peaceably petition their government for redress for the recent IRS abuses in targeting conservative groups and individuals.

How widespread were the rallies today? See this “Rein in the IRS Rally” map from Tea Party Patriots:
The original idea for the rally came during a group text message conversation between four members of the Cincinnati Tea Party. Last Wednesday (May 15th), we named the event, chose today’s date and time, and posted our announcement. Within days other organizations picked up on the idea and soon it spread nationwide.
Statehouse politicians may get another chance next week to advance Obamacare in Ohio. One possibility is Democrats proposing an amendment to the budget that includes Medicaid expansion. If this happens, only 11 Republicans would be needed to reintroduce the measure. Continue reading →
Here are a few pictures of the “Stop Kasichcare” rally staged outside the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati March 11th, 2013. On the night of the rally, Governor Kasich was the keynote speaker at the Hamilton County Lincoln/Reagan Day dinner. Protesters from area liberty groups were on hand to express their dissatisfaction with the governor’s proposals to voluntarily expand Medicaid in Ohio in line with Obamacare. Continue reading →
