Please consider riding a discounted-price motor coach to Washington D.C. to rally with other patriots from across the eastern United States. Join the Black American Leadership Alliance, and other concerned American citizens, at the July 15, 2013 “DC March For Jobs” rally. If the amnesty legislation as currently being structured and debated becomes law, low income Americans will suffer with increased competition for jobs and there will be even more down-pressure on wages. Additionally, the 11 million illegal aliens already in the U.S. will balloon to perhaps 100 million immigrants in a few years due to “chain migration” laws.

We are about to be treated to another run at Comprehensive Immigration Reform in the Senate and later in the House that has all the tricks used in passing the Obamacare bill of 2 years ago. “It is over one-thousand pages long. Pass the bill so we can figure it out.” It will not put our country in a better place and in fact compounds the problem that Congress feels they would be solving. The 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act (Simpson-Mazzoli) was also comprehensive with amnesty and border security and initially tight employer hiring sanctions. However, amnesty was granted but border security was not improved. Thus, our cry this time is for security first. Any granting of legality, provisional or otherwise, is amnesty never to be taken back. We only have the promise of border security and entry/exit visa tracking even with the Corker-Hoeven Amendment to the Senate Immigration Bill, S744. It did not happen in 1986 and it will not happen now, particular with the current administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
It is interesting that the Black American Leadership Alliance is the main sponsor of the March on DC. Of all the various interest groups it is this group that probably has the most to lose. Actually, all those working at lower skilled jobs have the most to lose and that indirectly affects all of us. We have over 20 million unemployed or underemployed and this bill will increase the number of green cards by 30 million plus in 10 years for the 11 million illegal immigrants of the increase in legal immigration. This just adds to employment problem. This does not even include temporary work visas that will be issued.
We must demonstrate our passion for protecting our country from the do gooders in Washington. The March of DC gives us a way to show another side to the illegal immigration story. Join in the trip to DC for the July 15 March. Come by plane, car of take the free bus ride from West Chester to DC. Let show the rest of Ohio that South West Ohio folks are engaged in this immigration battle.
