The past few year that we have put on this event, we have made our coming together a celebration – remembering the roots of our country, our leaders that stand for the individual and freedom.
This year we are going to take a look at Tax Day itself. Are we running our country as it is supposed to be run? Are we spending our hard earned money well? Are we borrowing against our children’s future for programs that are pivotal to our founding?
To examine these questions, The Cincinnati Tea Party is honored to host Jim Lewis from Building Blocks for Liberty. Jim will return us to our roots and look the true nature of Tax Day. He will take us into the Constitution to remind us the purpose of government, how taxes and revenue were supposed to work, the Constitutional enumerated powers of our government.
This will be a can’t miss event. We must continue to expand our understanding of our Constitution and the principles on which it is based, or we will lose the greatest gift ever given to man – the right to self-govern and individual freedom.
