Donations

The Cincinnati Tea Party is setup as a section 527 organization with the IRS. While non-profit, the donations are for political activities and therefore are NOT tax deductable. We are exploring the setup of another entity that would focus specifically on events that would be a 501(c)3.

A little bit goes a long way with us. The core members of the Cincinnati Tea Party are all volunteers and nobody draws salary or benefits from their ties to the group. All donations are used to fund our activities and events. We recognize that the donations received are YOUR hard earned money and pledge to be fiscally responsible stewards of these funds.
