“A Better Tomorrow: Fighting for Capitalism and Jobs in the Heartland,” by Robert D Hudson
For twenty five years, business attorney and author Rob Hudson fought for small business owners and the jobs they create.  He witnessed and challenged our federal government’s efforts to harass and, at times, destroy businesses.  Along the way, Rob served as Chairman of various business organizations and as host of the television show “Leading Businesses, Leading Communities.” Last year Rob wrote a book about capitalism which the TEA Party embraced and made an Amazon #1 Hot New Release.  Rob’s book, “A Better Tomorrow: Fighting for Capitalism and Jobs in the Heartland,” chronicles President Obama’s first term in office and the federal efforts to undermine capitalism, preventing job growth, which hurts our middle class.  The book recently won the National Runner-Up Award for E-Literature and became an award winner at the New York Book Festival.

We the People Convention
“Freedom is when the Government fears The People. Tyranny is when The People fear the Government.”
When: Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM (EDT)
Where:  Hyatt Regency Columbus
350 North High Street
Columbus, OH 43215

www.WethePeopleConvention.org  The 2013 We The People Convention will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus on Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 8:30 AM -5:30 PM. This year we have really driven the cost down to make sure everyone can afford to attend – and we have a program that we think will make everyone want to attend. The cost is the lowest that we have ever charged for a single day – only $37.50 per person which includes lunch!

The mission of the We the People Convention: “The purpose of this statewide convention shall be: to recruit, educate, and motivate Ohio citizens at the grassroots level to perform their constitutionally defined role in the governance of their townships, municipalities, counties, as well as in our state and nation, by providing opportunities, knowledge, and training to ensure limited constitutional governance.”

The main driver for this Convention is the Article V Convention that everyone in our movement is talking about – and trying to understand. Many liberty minded people across the state were asking if we could have a state meeting with experts to better understand this proposal.  We found the experts and made no delays in getting this show on the road!

In the agenda below, we will also cover all the other hot button issues in Ohio like Medicaid Expansion, Voter ID, Common Core, Agenda 21 and Illegal Immigration.  We finish with a 2014 Election Preview to examine the ballot issues (Gay Marriage and Marijuana Legalization) , the status of Workplace Freedom, and predict which will be contested in 2014.
