A lot of Presidential talk

downloadMost political talk right now surrounds the Presidential race; the debate, the news, talk radio, the internet, Facebook….President, President, President.
People ask me who I am supporting for President. I watched the debate last week with an open mind. I do have a candidate I am leaning toward, but there were a lot of good candidates on the stage.
What I am looking for in a political candidate, from President all the way down to dog catcher, is someone who will eliminate programs, get rid of regulations and move decisions as close to the people as possible. When decisions are in the hands of the people they will do what is in their best interest. When decisions are in the hands of government they will do what is in the best interest for the politicians.
As you learn about candidates, ask questions and listen for answers about how they will solve problems. That will give you the best clue about how they will govern.
Warren County Tea Party is talking about the Presidential race today at their meeting. Join in the conversation to learn more about the way these candidates will solve the problems facing our country.
