Here are a few pictures of the “Stop Kasichcare” rally staged outside the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati March 11th, 2013. On the night of the rally, Governor Kasich was the keynote speaker at the Hamilton County Lincoln/Reagan Day dinner. Protesters from area liberty groups were on hand to express their dissatisfaction with the governor’s proposals to voluntarily expand Medicaid in Ohio in line with Obamacare.
After the rally, volunteers gathered at the nearby Hyatt Regency Hotel for pizza and to make phone calls into the districts of local state representatives. By overwhelming margins, those contacted were opposed to the Medicaid expansion and willing to support a primary challengers to oppose Reps that voted for the governor’s plan to advance Obamacare in our state.
